I really meant to update last week but I just got a full time job and I've been so~~ busy!
Its a great job though. I work in Toronto at a store called Kikiwai. If you know what Kikiwai is you'll probably be going "no way!" :P If you don't... go here and find out ^^;;

Heres the new page.
I got bored and decided to add some Japanese words to it ^^;;
For everyone who doesn't know Japanese here are the translations (although they are written right next to the words sorta).
The first one is "Onegai" or "Onegaishimasu" which is what my sensei calls a 'super-word'. You say it, you're supposed to be able to get the person you're talking to to do what you request. Its usually translated as "I'm begging you.", but I put "Pretty please" just to be cute :p
The second one is "uwa---" This one just got stuck in my head and I couldn't imagine this scene without having it.
"Uwa" sounds like "wow" when you say it, and Mitsuki from "Full moon wo Sagashite" says it so much that even I've started saying it :p

And there ya go. Megkin's little Japanese lesson is complete.
What do you think of the car?

Well here you go. The new Harry Potter book comes out today (no I don't read them ^^;; ) and you get a new Security Blanket page. Is this a good day or what? :P

Exams are almost over now so I thought I'd bring you a new page of Security Blanket. Now I think I know why I've taken so long to do it. I hate this page. Its bad, bad bad bad bad!
Allanah just looks so bad on the bottom left panel >_<
But yeah.
Its summer now, so I'll have a better updating schedule for you :D

Oh, also I know about my message board and oekaki. Makes you all think I just gave up on this site, ne?
No. That was lycos being a baka. So I have set up a new one and I'm working really hard to restore the database. For now just post on the new one I guess ^^;;

OK. Security Blanket seems to be suffering a long and painful death... but its not. Really it isn't!
Its my art career that is. I am about 4 months behind in my art class and every time I even look at Security Blanket I feel guilty to draw it, when I haven't finished all my other assignments.
Who knows if I'll ever finish those assignments, but I do have tonight.
Tonight is Friday and I actually have drawn all of the rough layout to the next page (although I must fix this phone picture >_<) and I will draw it tonight. After the lovely Elquin's birthday gathering.
Yup.
If you don't see it tonight or tomorrow morning you have permission to run over me with your car :P

I used an Ikea catalogue for this actual drawing of a room :O and its so pretty! You should see the actual picture <33

I'm thinking of putting Security Blanket on a real schedule now. It mght be hard for me to stick to, but I'm gonna try. I hate leaving everything for so long, and I'm sorry I dot his all the time. I've had some personal delimas lately so that is another reason for less updates.
But now I'm gonna try and set up a day to update.
I'm thinking that Thursday and Saturday would be best.
Thursday because its near the end of the week, and I can work on it during that week, and Saturday because I have all day ^_^
Lets see if I can keep it up, neh?
Maybe I'll start tomorrow (Saturday) to see if I can do it.
Also, what do you think about Friday omake?

I was noticing how my site was nearing 5000 hits awhile ago, and thinking of what to draw for it, but you guys beat me ^^;;
It filled up within the next 2 days :O
I drew a special celebratory picture because I just saw The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and I'm in love with Gandalf's horse, Shadowfax, (and I've always wanted to draw Allanah on a horse <3 )
This horse is based off of a picture of the very horse from the movie, and I really really like how it turned out :D
Even Allanah looks good. <333
Although, I must admit that the white in her hair is too... shiny :P

Hello.
An unexpected thing happened today.
It snowed.
I love snow and there's not one thing better about winter then snow, but this meant my dad couldn't go to Florida.
Meaning: we went out and bought a new scanner! <3333
So I did a new page to test it out.
Needless to say it's a much more amazing scanner then my old one. In fact I actually had to erase the pencil marks on this page because the scanner picked them up O_o
Here's a perfect comparison between my yellowed scans of copic markers, and my new one.

Well, it's hard to see... but the skin colour actually looks good.... and that makes me happy ^_^

By the way, I was looking at the results to the character vote. Does no one really like Allanah? Poor Allanah ;_; :p
Also, who is the other? I only put that in to fill space. I didnt' think anyone would vote for it.

Has anyone been wondering where the new update is?
For awhile I just didn't have the heart to put it up. I'm sensitive and a few comments got to me, but then I decided to re draw it, and scan it about 2 weeks ago now but not only did I get a bad cold but the computer with my scanner on it broke.
Today I got my dad (who bought a new computer) to hook up the scanner to it so I could put it up today and..... the scanner broke. Windows XP is evil I tell you :p
So, very sorry I can't have another update for 2 weeks at the least because tonight my dad leaves for Florida.

I've decided to cut right to the answer. There were three pages (poorly drawn might I add) before I say what's actually happening, but now there will be only two. So, the next one is it.

I'll try to work on it sometime this week. (Maybe tomorrow ^^;;) but I thought Mike's little kindness scene could hold you all over for awhile ^_^

I like shojo and love stories. Read a Lurlene Mcdaniel book and you'll see exactly the type of story I'm interested in, and the type of story Security Blanket really is ^-^

I hope everyone continues to read it now that it's reached the turning point. It's much different then most mangas out there, in fact the only one I've ever seen that deals with the same issues is called Full moon wo sagashite
And even that is a long shot ^^;;

New page after a huge problem! If anyone tried to navigate through my manga in the last two days you probably noticed that you couldn't do it. That the picture of Sabastian's mother was gone, and the other pages would take you right to the main page instead of their next page It really bothered me having lost too many things this week >_<

But alls well now! Here's a new page because there is only 4 (yeah, 4) pages left in this issue. So I hope to try to get the end up this week, (not the end of the comic, the issue) you can't get rid of me that easily :-=

Also, I do know what I'm talking about, I'm just being simple in the dialogue, because Allanah is eleven. Remember? She wouldn't know much either.

Ok, I am wa~y too hard on myself.
I've draw so many pictures and different pages for this manga but I never put them up for anyone to see.
And yes, I did have an image gallery, but I never put that up either.

So what I'm trying to say is I pride myself on the quality of the drawings, but I don't want to do it quite so harshly now.
I'm going to try to update once a week now (instead of like twice a month @_@) and if I don't make a deadline I'll scan one of the many many pictures I have.

I'm getting disappointed with this story, it's not going where I want it to.
Oh well, at least a new character is coming ^_^

There are many things I'm unhappy with for this page. For one my lovely smooth inker ran out in the 4th panel! That is so sad! And I hate Sabastian's clothing. They don't suit him. So, if the clothing changes in a future page... thats why ^_^;;

Yay new page!
Sorry for taking so long. My scanner broke T_T
But dad and me fixed it last night, so here's my new page ^_^
Also, I'm happy to be a part of Keenshojo and Keenadian dropdowns now :D
The other two have not currently added me, but thats OK. I don't have much content yet huh?

Hi there! I've just moved in today, but I've had a lot of comic pages made already on my old site

I'm happy to be part of the Keenspace community, and hope all my old readers think this is an OK move ^_^
The dates are kind of screwed up... uh that's cuz theres so many darn pages to upload, and I was too lazy to count the right way. And I can't count=p
So volume 2 is set up right; March 29 hopefully to April 20th ^-^;;
